While Adam and I were in the Dominican Republic we had a conversation about future trip and how I would like to take one, really great trip with just my parents. Adam was amenable and agreed that, even though mom and dad are still in great shape at 69 & 75 years old, we probably shouldn't put that idea off for too long. We first looked at renting a beach house in Puerto Rico, mainly to avoid the hassle of international travel in the COVID-19 era. After researching houses and activities for a couple of weeks though, the destination felt, well, forced.
